KYZEN Featured Aqueous and Vacuum Degreasing Cleaning Chemistries Plus In-Booth Demonstrations at FABTECH https://industrialmachinerydigest.com/metalworking/part-cleaning/kyzen-at-fabtech-2025/ Wed, 10 Sep 2025 00:58:33 +0000 https://industrialmachinerydigest.com/?p=139521 KYZEN, the global leader in innovative environmentally responsible cleaning chemistries, exhibited at FABTECH 2025 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The KYZEN Clean Team provided information about METALNOX cleaning chemistries in addition to in-booth cleaning demonstrations.

KYZEN offers a full line of chemistry products to meet the challenges faced today by metal industry manufacturers. The company provides chemistries to address cleaning challenges ranging from cleaning and protecting parts from corrosion with a single chemistry like METALNOX M6324CP to improving cleaning effeciency in a vacuum degreasing process with METALNOX M6386.

METALNOX M6324CP is a heavy-duty, alkaline cleaner/inhibitor built with effective steel corrosion inhibitors that can be used to remove chlorinated, paraffinic oils used in a variety of machining, stamping, and deep draw operations. M6324CP is formulated with oil splitting properties and can effectively remove difficult soils like carbon smut while maintaining low foam and very low VOC.

METALNOX M6386 is a modified alcohol-based solvent blend formulated for use in automated vacuum degreasing systems to clean non-polar oils and water-based polar contaminants. M6386 dries without leaving residues while effectively cleaning metal hardware, fasteners, and components and remaining compatible with a wide range of seal material.

Regardless of process, challenge, or the cleaning objective, KYZEN is prepared to offer chemistries and provide solutions.

ALMCO Brings Quality Parts Finishing and Washing Systems to FABTECH https://industrialmachinerydigest.com/metalworking/part-cleaning/almco-brings-quality-parts-finishing-and-washing-systems-to-fabtech/ Mon, 07 Jul 2025 20:07:09 +0000 https://industrialmachinerydigest.com/?p=138597 Dedicated to providing manufacturers with the most innovative and productive parts finishing and washing machines, ALMCO will spotlight its SBB-8V round bowl finishing machine, the VB-1631 vibratory finishing tub and the PRB18-36E inline conveyor parts washer at FABTECH 2025 in booth D41360. The machines deliver extreme efficiency, ease of operation, versatility and high output.

ALMCOThe SBB-8V from ALMCO’s Spiral Bottom Bowl (SBB) Series features an 8 cubic-foot working capacity and is part of the company’s latest generation of round bowl-type finishing machines. The machine’s spiral bottom bowl design provides a larger open area below the screen to aid in part travel around the bowl during batch processing. It also decreases the final incline to the screen during part discharge.

SBB Series machines also feature processing chambers with continuous retention baffles that include long internal screening sections for effective part removal. Parts-media separator screens allow the media to fall back into the bowl during discharge. Series machines are available in several sizes, and ALMCO will custom configure them with options for specific end user applications. When equipped with an air-operated discharge door, the machines are easily integrated into automated systems to eliminate the need for most manual intervention.

ALMCOFor those manufacturers seeking a versatile and cost-effective finishing system, ALMCO will spotlight the robust VB-1631 featuring a 5 foot 3” working capacity, 30.5” tub length and 16.5” tub cross section. ALMCO offers its Value Base (VB) Series of vibratory finishing tubs at lower price points. While the machines have fewer options and simpler electrical controls, they still offer effective part finishing results with their aggressive vibratory action that guarantees parts are finished exactly to an end user’s desired specifications.

ALMCOALMCO’s PRB18-36E inline conveyor washer is constructed of stainless steel and allows operators to clean high-volume parts in a multistage process. As such, the machines provide continuous, flow-through operation with wash, rinse and blow-off.

The machine includes easily adjustable spray nozzles for 360-degree coverage, heated wash and rinse tanks and automatic water and compound replenishment. ALMCO also offers rust inhibitor and drying sections. Besides these features, the PRB18-36E offers its own unique set of features and options, and ALMCO can modify or customize the machine to match exact application requirements.
