Stop by booth 2421 to see the NEMO® Progressing Cavity Pump, TORNADO® T2 Rotary Lobe Pump, PERIPRO® Peristaltic Pumps, NOTOS® Multi Screw Pumps, and Mine Dewatering Skids, ideal for underground mines that require a small and compact movable unit to address their dewatering challenges.

The NEMO® progressing cavity pump is known for its ability to efficiently transfer viscous mineral slurries without being affected by fluctuations in pressure or solids content. NEMO® pumps are also the gentlest and safest choice for high performance pumping of emulsified/liquid explosives.

Another option for mining applications is the TORNADO® T2 Rotary Lobe Pump, a self-priming, valve-less pump that offers maximum operational performance, high reliability and durability, ease of maintenance, and a low total life cycle cost. With a revolutionary design that has been recently reengineered to maximize uptime, the TORNADO® T2 pump features metal lobes running inside a metal housing with an elastomer liner.

The NOTOS® multi screw pumps ensure reliability of the ball mills and SAG mills, where consistent and continuous lubrication is essential. NOTOS® pumps are the ideal solution to supply the injection unit as well as handle the lubricant circulation operation.

PERIPRO® Peristaltic Pumps have a heavy-duty construction for demanding applications, with large, easy-to-maintain rollers for longer service life. These pumps are ideal for complex fluids, such as abrasive, corrosive, viscous, and delicate products. Ultimately, this pump design provides energy savings up to 30%, and requires 90% less lubricant when compared to other peristaltic pumps using shoe technology.

NETZSCH pumps are available a wide range of flow and pressure capabilities. These pump types as well as the dewatering skid tank can be constructed from carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and Halar/rubber-lined steel, depending on application needs. All NETZSCH mining pump solutions are rugged, reliable and easy to maintain.

Lubrication Engineers Highlights Monolec® Syn Industrial Oil for Enhanced Equipment Performance and Longevity https://industrialmachinerydigest.com/material-handling/fluid-handling/lubrication-engineers-highlights-monolec-syn-industrial-oil-for-enhanced-equipment-performance-and-longevity/ Mon, 09 Feb 2026 15:51:00 +0000 https://industrialmachinerydigest.com/?p=140629 Lubrication Engineers, a leader in the development and manufacturing of high-performance lubricants and reliability solutions, highlights its Monolec® Syn Industrial Oil, an advanced synthetic lubricant engineered to extend equipment life by combating the effects of high temperatures, contamination and loads that accelerate wear.

Designed for versatility, Monolec Syn Industrial Oil meets or exceeds the requirements of a wide variety of industrial applications, including gearboxes, air compressors, vacuum pumps and hydraulic systems, and in roll mill bearings in the textile, plastic, rubber and paper industries.

Formulated with a high-viscosity 100% synthetic base oil and a specially developed additive package, Monolec Syn Industrial Oil excels in applications running at extreme temperatures. The proprietary Monolec® wear-reducing additive creates a single molecular lubricating film on metal surfaces, significantly increasing oil film strength without affecting clearances.

Lubrication EngineersMonolec Syn Industrial Oil provides reliable, wear-resistant service by increasing equipment reliability, reducing replacement and repair costs. It features an extremely high natural viscosity index, maintaining viscosity in service and performing consistently in high and low temperatures. The oil exhibits outstanding oxidation and thermal stability while controlling corrosive and scuffing wear.

This innovative lubricant ensures clean, moisture-resistant operation by keeping applications clean and running at peak efficiency. It eliminates carbon deposits, sludge and varnish, while protecting metal surfaces from moisture and providing superior rust protection. Monolec Syn Industrial Oil is completely nonfoaming in service and will not harm seals and plastics.

One of the key benefits of Monolec Syn Industrial Oil is its ability to reduce oil consumption. It extends drain intervals due to exceptional oxidation resistance and requires less make-up oil due to low volatility. This results in reduced environmental impact with less waste oil for disposal. The oil is also compatible with other lubricants, facilitating easy conversion.

The synergistic combination of the synthetic base oil and advanced additive package in Monolec Syn Industrial Oil works to reduce wear, extend oil drain intervals, decrease oil consumption, and virtually eliminate deposits and sludge formation, all while ensuring excellent compatibility with seals.

Monolec Syn Industrial Oil is available in the following product numbers with corresponding ISO viscosity grades: 9032 (32), 9046 (46), 9068 (68), 9100 (100), 9150 (150), 9220 (220), 9320 (320), 9460 (460), and 9680 (680).

Finish Thompson Inc. Highlights VKC Series Vertical Pump Solutions https://industrialmachinerydigest.com/material-handling/fluid-handling/finish-thompson-inc-highlights-vkc-series-vertical-pump-solutions/ Mon, 15 Dec 2025 16:52:07 +0000 https://industrialmachinerydigest.com/?p=140104 Finish Thompson Inc. (FTI), an international leader in the corrosive chemical transfer industry, highlights the VKC Series vertical pumps for chemical processing and industrial fluid handling applications. The VKC Series integrates a sealless mag-drive vertical design with an airtight column, helping to prevent shaft and motor corrosion while reducing environmental emissions and fugitive leaks. The magnetic drive eliminates the need for wetted shaft bearings, enhancing reliability and minimizing maintenance costs.

VKC Series pumps are manufactured from durable polypropylene or PVDF, with construction flexibility supported by carbon, PTFE, or ceramic bushing options. The single impeller design eliminates microbubbles and prevents aeration, while the absence of a back impeller further reduces maintenance and wear. Multiple impeller diameters and column lengths offer enhanced hydraulic selection and application flexibility, with modular column construction available in 6-inch (15 cm) increments from 12 inches (30 cm) up to 60 inches (152 cm) to support application requirements. The series features seven models, including the VKC5.5, VKC6, VKC6H, VKC7, VKC8, VKC10, and MSVKC.

Mounting versatility allows the pump to be easily installed inside or outside of the tank (when attached to a mounting plate). The pump’s vertical column is completely sealed and airtight, and motors are mounted to the plate, drilled for a standard C-faced motor. This design eliminates the requirement for pump/motor alignment, offering a simpler and more reliable installation.

FKM or EPDM O-ring options provide chemical compatibility, while hardware choices, including titanium, Hastelloy® C, or PVDF, address diverse operating demands. Standard NPT or BSP threaded connections, along with global NEMA or IEC motor compatibility, make VKC Series pumps suitable for use anywhere in the world. The pump series is CE, UKCA, and EAC certified.

The VKC Series delivers maximum working pressures up to 60 psi (4.1 bar), maximum temperatures of 140°F (60°C), flow rates up to 69 gallons per minute (15.7 m³/hr), heads up to 99 feet (30.2 meters), and can handle fluids with specific gravities over 1.8. The closed column reduces both motor and pump maintenance, while the liquid end can be removed without removing the complete column from the motor to streamline repairs and reduce downtime.

Applications for the VKC Series span chemical processing, filtration, and sumps, serving key industries such as biofiltration and odor control, chemical manufacturing, electroplating, and fume scrubbers.
