Unison is also expected to retain certain key personnel from PHI – based in the City of Industry, CA.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The deal is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be finalized in November 2025. Pipe Cut delivers cutting speeds up to 500 IPM, maximum traverse speeds up to 800 IPM, repeatability of 0.001 inches, and positioning accuracy of 0.003 inches. On Bar Shear: Simply slide the raw material underneath the measuring wheel and up to the blade. Then, press the clear button to reset the tool and you’re ready to make your first cut. An accurate measurement of length will be displayed on the device as you push the material through the shear. Making more than one cut? Just clear the device after each cut, then continue pushing the material through to each desired length.

On Angle Shear: Slide raw material underneath the measuring wheel up to a closed blade, then calibrate the device by pressing the zero button. Philip, South Dakota: Nov 7, 1977, Jerry started his career at Scotchman Industries in the factory.

In 1986 he moved into customer service, then Sales Manager and finally in 2001 Jerry became President of Scotchman Ind. where he remains today.

Alvin Pearson celebrates 50 years with Scotchman Industries

November 13, 1972, Alvin started his career at Scotchman Industries. Alvin started as a welder for about 18 months, then moved to assembly for a few months. Then the next four years Alvin worked in paint and final assembly and parts room where he also started taking customer service calls as needed.

In the late 1970’s Alvin moved into customer service full time where he continues today. He has been the Inside Sales Manager for many, many years. Retirement? “No retirement in mind at this time,” Alvin says. “As long as I can help our customers, I would be happy where I’m at.”

The 5014-ET hydraulic ironworker is a single operator design with 7 total stations. It features 50 tons of pressure and has the ability to punch a 13/16″ hole in a 3/4″ plate.
