Scotchman Industries was proud to welcome South Dakota Governor Larry Rhoden for an official visit and tour of its manufacturing facility in Philip on July 10, 2025. The visit provided an opportunity to highlight Scotchman’s contributions to American manufacturing and its impact on the state and local economy.

Governor Rhoden expressed appreciation for the company’s commitment to keeping manufacturing strong in South Dakota, stating: “South Dakota is one of the only states in America where manufacturing is growing. Thanks to companies like Scotchman, we are making sure that our products are not only made in America — but made in South Dakota! It was an honor to tour Scotchman’s facilities earlier this month. Even in our smallest towns, our state is Open for Opportunity!”
