The Drill Press Vise with Lugs from Palmgren is a convenient, general-purpose vise that belongs in every shop. The light duty drill press vise is recommended for use on drill presses, mill/drills, milling machines and any other machine tool where secure mounting is required. Palmgren’s precision engineering keeps the bed and base of the vise parallel to 0.001 inch. The vise features two 3/8-inch bolt lugs on each side of the vice body for easy mounting. The replaceable sealed jaw on the fixed side is horizontally and vertically grooved for holding round parts. The center of the base is open for holding work through the body of the vice. Reversible hard jaws from Dillon Manufacturing are suitable for ID and OD workholding, so they accurately grip and locate work pieces, while significantly reducing set up times. Designed to hold a specific range of part sizes, they are ideal for first operation workholding. They fit all brands of chucks including serrated, Acme Key, square key, and tongue-and-groove styles. Single or two-step jaws feature diamond shaped serrations to provide secure gripping and accurate parts locating.

Manufactured of 8620 case hardened steel, with ground locating surfaces, and black oxide coated for corrosion resistance. The company also offers custom made special or modified hard jaws with industry-leading turnaround times.
